    Hello iPodTouchFans,

This is my review of the the DarthPod Carbon replacement back by Gold_Finger.

First of all i would like to say thank you to Gold_Finger for making such a great product. It looks good and functions great.

    Looks:10/10

The back looks amazing and i am 100% glad i bought it. Its is a nice flat black finish that matches the front bezel almost perfectly. That was one thing i was really hopping for in this case. It feels just like the iPod Touch normal back but looks 300x better. It is true that it is scratch proof. Overall i give the looks a 10/10.

    Function:10/10

I think the case feels natural for the iPod and doesn't change the feel at all 10/10.

    Installation:

Here it is the fatal flaw. It is extremely hard to install and may mess up your bezel. Like it did mine =(. Sadly once again the tools provided did not work well for me. I resorted to a paring knife. Once i got the first few tabs it was easy to do from there on. Then you get to the sleep/wake button and the wifi adapter. They are both screwed on to the original back and are relatively hard to put on the new one. I wont get into details but just be patient and you will get them on. Then putting it back on was a breeze just pressure the back and it will snap back in place. 6/10 for the installation.

Overall I give this case a 7/10. But don't let that discourage you, its just because of the install. After that its totally worth the $60 price tag.

blahahahhaha a knife to open your ipod... nice. Go over your bezel with a sharpie, make it look a lot better. I suggest to everyone that once they get there back take it to an iPod repair person, (search for one in your area) and have them do it, they take abpart and put together tens of iPod everyday

I really want to build a nerwork of installers as I think that way people get a perfect install without any hassle. I have stated that i am prepared to keep the price at $45 a unit to allow installers to offer their services whilst keeping the cost reasonable.

The plastic card is for prying the back off once the plectrum gets it started.
