Umm I know this is, like, a year late but can someone tell me why DDL's performance in There will be Blood was better than Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd and Tommy Lee Jones in No Country for Old Men??

Have you seen There Will Be Blood? I think he's an amazing actor.

Though I haven't seen the other two films. Sweeny just... looked like a gimmick.

And No Country... Filled with too many old men.

I own There Will be Blood and I thought it was good but could be cut down; some parts went on for too long and I hated the music!!

I found Johnny Depp's performance to be more engrossing (I would say real but TWBB is more realistic than ST).

I suggest you watch Sweeney Todd - it's my favourite movie hands down!

i own both sweeney and there will be blood. You know they are both so diffrent and the actors are so diverse. They were both great movie, but id say sweeney todd had a more engrossing storyline. there will be blood had great production value and put you in the early 1900's also it had a pretty good storyline. I couldnt pick one myself.
