So I just updated from jailbroken 2.2.1 to 3.1.2 and then used blackra1n... My question is: why won't Cydia OR Icy show up after intalling through blackra1n?
    thanks!

    I think you mean 3.1.2..
    Anyways..
There should be an app on your Springboard called Blackra1n..
    Install Cydia with that...

You have to have WiFi to install Cydia/Icy/Rock.

correct, nothing appears to go wrong when "installing" ..installing cydia, unpacking cydia, re-spring etc. the icon just won't show up

if you had them hidden before you upgraded to 3.1.2, then they will remain hidden until you can install poof or sbsettings to unhide them
they might be installed but you cant see them basically

unless you know that they are actually not installing
in that case, your ipod is probably retarded

ohh, thanks for clearing that up. I figured that they would appear again.. but I guess not.. I read that it's bad to have all 3 (Cydia, Rock, and Icy) ..will I screw up anything for downloading Rock?

i had it for a while and the interface is nice but i see no reason for having more than one installer app
if you do install rock, make sure to reboot afterwards because it doesnt finish installing until you do
