Cydia wont add source

    I am trying to add a source to cydia. It freezes at downloading packages. Anybody know y?

    The source can be down. Have you tried adding a different source?

    What source was it?


    I added a source (that I'm now allowed to mention here) and it did that. Then I just pressed cancel, then SSH'd into my iPhone and edited the sources.plist file and it worked fine after that.

    Where is that file u edited? I cant find it. I cant mention the source here either

    What did you do to that file. I was looking at it and the source is in there but it doesnt show up in cydia

    I added the source to the cydia.list file and then went to open cydia. I now have a GPG error for that source.


    EDIT: now i cant add any sources. I tried to add another one and it doesnt work either. Just gets stuck at Downloading Packages

    Same thing happened to me,the only thing you can do is (If ALL sources are doing this) then re-install Cydia,either by SSH method or by restoring and re-jailbreaking.
