I wanted to get a Gameboy emulator and update vWallpaper, but Cydia refuses to open and i'm stuck. Any way of getting it back withoutQuickpwning it over again and wiping my app collection? I still have Installer and [PIRACY]us if that helps.

SSH into your iPod and copy all of the apps. Re- jailbreak.

Or you can download Aptapp in Cydia.

Use either MobileTerminal on your iPod or some SSH client.

This is necessary only if you are using MobileTerminal on your iPod:
    Code:
    su root
    alpine
    Then:
    Code:
    apt-get remove cydia
    Yes, do as I say!
    apt-get install cydia

If you have Boss Prefs, try using the Fix Dir button, or chmod -755 in WinSCP or whatever.

So you have [PIRACY]us? If you have ipod touch 2g, i dont know. For ipod touch 1g just rejailbreak. Just start up quickpwn and follow the step it will reinstall Cydia. Also when doing this, it will NOT uninstall the apps, just that cydia will say it isnt installed so yeah.

Uninstall MobileSubstrate. I had that problem, and that was a fix without rejailbreaking it.

When I put in the "apt-get remove cydia" command, it says:

    ------------------double post merged------------------
I have a 1G ipod touch, so I'll try that if all else fails and hope for the best.

    SSH isn't connected to it.
