Ok, don't ask me why, but I decided to chmod /Applications to 777 the other day. I know this is potentially harmful, but I did it anyways, just to show someone something.

Now, my Cydia crashes brack to Springboard on start. I already tried removing it and putting it back on using this method:

    Code:
    apt-get remove cydia
    apt-get install cydia
    chmod -R 777 /Applications/Cydia.app
    exit
    killall SpringBoard
But it still doesn't work. Anyone know what I should do? Sorry for the stupidness.

Nevermind. I seem to have fixed it using something else.

    This can be closed.

Permissions aren't something that should blindly be changed by someone who obviously has no idea what they are/mean.

There are two binaries in Cydia. One should be 755, the other 6755.
