Alright I cant download any apps because my installer wont update. The only way to fix that is to restore. So im thinking about switching to Cydia Is it any good. BTW the problem with installer is that when i try to update to 3.1 it says "not enough free space to update Installer! Please free at least 512 KB of space." and i have 2.3 gigabytes free and i cant download ANY apps. Thanks

wow sucram... -sigh- Cydia is alot like Installer.app.... if you know what Install.app is....... well mobbin, did you get bossprefs? (or bosstoll, i can't remembmer) well if you didnt, then get one of those i just said and use bossprefs to free up some space on your ipod/iphone. if that doesn't work than ya sure go get Cydia. But also, you should post this thread again and put a poll on what you should do. that might be helpful. good luck

First remove a few apps, then install the Boss Tool and then use the Free up space , then use Move apps and you should be all set and should have tons more free space. So you dont need to install Cydia unless you want all the extra it gives you over installer.

Yea, Cydia isn't that good in my opinion, especially if you don't know what you are doing.
It doesn't even have that much apps in it.
