I jailbroke my 3.0 ipod touch 2G about 5 mins ago and I'm having some trouble with cydia, winterboard doesn't seem to exist at all, and when installing some packages cydia just closes.

Damnit, never mind. It fixed itself after rebooting a couple of times.

its fine now, its not the 3.0 firmware. it was the server that cydia is hosted on

Hey, same problem here. Everytime I try to install something, Cydia crashes. I managed to get the terminal.app, but it crashes to springboard immediately after starting. I think I will restore to the 2.2.1 firmware.

It works when it wants to.
    First time, it worked fine.
Second and third time, it crashed.
A while after that, it worked fine.
    Just now, it crashed.
And when I tried again, it worked.

Just live with it for now.
