I remember when I first jailbroke my 1G, cydia was not "loading data" and reloding it. When I jailbroke my 2G on 2.2 I noticed cydia was much more full of things and it had the loading data thing. Why didn't it load data before?

    Don't use Cydia anymore.
For each firmware, it has its own "best" program to mange apps:

    1.x: Installer.app
2.x: Cydia - (this was before the "loading" crap)
    3.0: Icy
    3.1+: Rock.app

go to what section you think is appropriate for ur topic, then click the "New Thread" button. Not that hard.
