    My Ipod Touch Information:
    -2nd Gen (MC Model)
    -8GB
    -Previous Official Firware: 3.1.3
    -Jailbroken with Spirit

I'm really stuck, for some reason, whenever I try to open Cydia, a black screen appears (with bottom and top borders still showing). I now cant access Cydia which is a real pain for me. I know that I have to delete the contents of my updates but there seems to be now way I can do this because of the information given above. Can anybody help me? Thank you.

Yup, you need 3.1.3 ipsw. which i cannot link for ruling reasons... shift+restore the ipsw to get back to 3.1.3. without going to 4.0. Then rejailbreak.

You can link if they have a 3G iPod.
