    Hiyas, it's me. Again.

Now, I needsome help with Cydia in this thread.
Before I jailbreak, I need some idea of what Cydia does.
(If I ever jailbreak, I'll go with Cydia)

What I don't understand most are sources. If anyone could explain these to me.. that'd be great.

That's all I really want to know.. any further questions will be asked later on in this thread. Thanks in advance!

Sources are urls where different packages are stored. Cydia does not store any package, but rather pulls them off of the Sources.

    For example:
Walmart (substituting Cydia) is just a store. It would be empty and make no business without its suppliers. The Suppliers (substituting the sources) are the manufacturer's warehouse. In order for walmart to make business, it has to get shipments from its suppliers.

It doesn't download it for you. once you enter a source, you can search for the app that, that source offers.

No, but it gives you a selection of all the packages on the source. You can choose which apps you want.

Like the example above, If you go to walmart, they wont make you buy everything they have, but rather everything you want to buy.
