Okay so I just removed cydia using mobile terminal, and now cydia is gone from the springboard, but when I try to reinstall it via mobile terminal, it gives me the error

": Could not perform immediate configuration on 'essential'.Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2) "

This is after I type in "y" when they ask if I want to continue.
This is frustrating me so much!! Please help!!

If you have rock I wouldn't worry, but otherwise you will either need to find a .deb to reinstall it or restore and rejailbreak.

How do I do that? I have ifile, so what am I supposed to do?

And I don't want to restore because then that would mean that I would have to downgrade back to 4.0.1 since iTunes tells me to upgrade if I want to restore.

Do you have ssh? Drop the deb in ANY directory, just make sure you will be able to find it. Go to that directory with ifile and select the deb, an option to install will come up. When its done respring and you're away
