    It is fixable

First it is not fixable unless you ssh or use ifile into you ipod touch/iphone

    Firstly you go to var/lib/apt
delete everything inside the folder *partial* (but the leave the folder)
and delete everything in apt except that empty partial folder
then go to var/lib/cydia and find a metadata.plist
now you have to remember what sources you added recently that caused this problem. (up to 3 days ago)
there will be a lot of code but it is actually quite simple
find the source/sources you added recently within the </key></key>
    remove that line
then under it you will find </dict> then below that more coding then another </dict>
remove the coding betweens the </dict>(s) including the dict
repeat this process for any other recently added sources
then go to etc/apt/sources.list.d and open up cydia.list
remove the recently added sources delete the WHOLE line of that source
tc/apt/sources.list.d is not in the var folder you go out of the var folder and then find etc.

This should fix the problem> it is simply a registry error
