Its bugging, can't upgrade, can't download anything. Can anyone help?

    [EDIT] FIXED

    Heres how (w/o restoring)
If you just jailbroke 3.0 with redsnow 0.7.2 and chose the option ICY and Cydia and Cydia is acting up with all the errors, re-run redsnow 0.7.2 with ONLY cydia installed (leave ICY unchecked). Following the instructions (i held the home button all the way until it said "finished" but i dont know if that makes a difference), and once you run redsnow again, Cydia will work fine.

Hope this helps others in need.

    restore and re-jailbreak

    restore and re-jailbreak it

mine works fine... so does ICY (the new redsnow 0.7.2 has an option for ICY)

Today I finally got around to installing the 3.0 firmware and restoring everything. Then I wanted to jailbreak, so I did that... twice.

Cydia didn't work after either time. It crashes almost constantly, and WON'T download the updates, the main thing it tells me is "Cached Failure" after "Server timed out" or "Host unreacheable" or "POSIX: Operation time out". It has done this EVERY time I try to install the updates. Re-jailbreaking didn't fix this issue.

    Anybody have input?

i suggest to all of u ipod touch users having problems to just stick with jailbreak 2.2.1. its much more reliable, and if u have already upgraded to 3.0, u can still downgrade using quickfreedom. wait till a more reliable cydia is released, or else bugs will appear everywhere
