If it's crashing, open teminal, and type the following:

    su root (hit return)

    alpine (hit return)

    apt-get remove cydia (hit return)

Yes, do as I say! (hit return)

    apt-get install cydia (hit return)

Then exit, and open Cydia. Voila!

if you see a file named status-old, just rename it into status
    then close ssh client
    go into iphones terminal

Did you really need to bump a 2 month old thread with a redundant fix. It's already been solved.

HELP?!? My Cydia is crashing back to springboard upon selection of filters (GUI, etc.). This started immediateoly after the 2.2 jailbreak update using Pwnage 2.2.1. I can't install terminal without Cydia - can I?
