    (I know there's another topic on this, but none of the solutions posted there worked for me.)

    So basically, whenever I try to open Cydia, it loads the background, and then crashes.

    I would use those MobileTerminal solutions, but I don't have it.

    So... Could anyone help me out with this, or SSH their iPod and upload the MobileTerminal app?

    I have installer too.

    What's the source? I'd be overjoyed to know what it is.

    Sadly, I can't seem to find that source anywhere.

    I would just re-jailbreak, but since my hard drive on my main computer has failed, I'd lose all of my music, and I'm not willing to do that.

    SSH into your iPod.

    Go to /private/etc/apt/ and create apt.conf

    then edit your file (/private/etc/apt/apt.conf, for clarity) so it says:

    Code:
    Acquire {
      Queue-Mode access
    };

    Use something like DiskAid to backup your Music and Videos, then just restore it.
