Cydia crashes on start up

    Hi folks

    Title says it all

    Tried every fix shhed too ipod deleted ztt souces and delted the stuff in the souces.dlist folder. Reinstalled cydia tried almost all fix including configure -a in terminal. Help I'm stuck don't want to restore lose jailbreak!

    Can get this fixed without restore?

    dfu restore. Then try jailbreaking with redns0w if u arn't already. Also if none of that works. you could try rock

    What did you do to make it stop working?

    It won't just STOP WORKING, you obviously did something.

    Try setting permissions to 775 or 777, I forget which it is.

    redsnow doesn't work on 3g and I think rock update caused problem in first place

    Permission set on 755 (I think thats normal)

    so u r trying to use rock & cydia at the same time? this can cause alot of problems. I advise you dont use both. Dfu restore and only use 1 of them

    I've been using both since rock came out no problems

    Yeah. it gets problomatic after a while. I had rock on my ipod. Installed custom boot logo's and didnt untick install cydia. I trying to ignore it. My screen stopped working

    found problem its rock! log file cant get rid of it though and can't enter safemode

    if i go to dfu mode returns

    arm boot error -6

    so yeah. Rock isnt that safe. Just dfu restore and forget your trouble.

    arm boot error -6 _ from dfu mode
