I jailbreaked my ipod touch 2g using blackra1n RC3 (firmware 3.1.2) and everything worked fine. I installed both Cydia and Rock using blackra1n but neither of them working. Every time I try to run them they quit quickly. I tried to follow procedures of this video but that requires SSH which in turn needs Cydia package. What should I do?

If you have installed Rock, get rid of Rock extensions, caused BIG crashes for me on both 3g and 3gs. I also uninstalled Backra1n due to connection trouble, this might have been fixed now though !

Cydia and Rock don't play nice together sometimes, but that seems extreme. Try restoring to resolve your problem

How can I discard Rock? There is no option in blackra1n and I can't SSH to remove it manually.

you'll probably have to restore like simsandwich said. idk any other way to fix it.

What exactly are the Rock extensions?
My iPod does the exact same thing, but I only have Rock.

Rock extensions is like MobileSubstrate. it enables 3rd party system addons.
