I just recently upgraded to 3.0 and jailbroke it using redsn0w 0.7.2. Now sometimes (basically every time) I tap Cydia, it comes up fine, but when I go to the Manage tab and tap either Packages, Sources, or Storage, it crashes to the Springboard. I don't know what could be causing this.

Can I just run redsn0w again, or do I have to do the whole restore thing with iTunes again (restore to stock 3.0, then jailbreak from there)?

You should be able to re run redsn0w just fine.

Did that and it's still doin the same thing.

EDIT: I even totally restored 3.0 and re-jailbroke from it. Same problem still...

Will updating Cydia in thru itself solve the crashing issue? I don't have readily available access to WiFi so I can't check right away. Also, I tried the fix for Cydia in another topic (jailbreak twice) but it still crashes any time I try to bring up the Packages list, Sources (those rare times when I am able to go in to Sources, there are none listed btw) list, and Storage section.

Well I've had no chance to get on WiFi yet, this is just after breaking.

You can't use a backup of your ipod from 2.0 software, if that's what you did
