    Hi everyone!

    I've been manually installing the .deb packages into Cydia's AutoInstall directory(as the only WiFi I have any access to has SO many restrictions on it, i.e. No Cydia). The packages install in Cydia (in this case OpenSSH and SBSettings), but the don't appear on the SpringBoard.

    After a few (652) reboots, I have concluded that respringing it this way is ineffective. Any suggestions?

    Cheers,
    Me.

    PS;
    I have looked at the Videos online for how to install stuff without wifi, but they seem to think that installing OpenSSH with wifi doesn't count for using wifi.

    PSS;
    I'm using a 2nd Gen Touch running 2.2.1, oh and... Windows... so, yeah.

    You need to update Cydia or install something usually to get the packages to actually install.

    A tad hard without wifi. Is there a location Cydia uses to store downloaded packages before they are installed?

    I just realised I called it the dashboard. Somebody shoot me.
