i just recently jailbroke my 1g to 3.0 and did it with redsnow and things worked great, the process went well and i have cydia and icy as apps on my screen. i was trying to get winterboard on cydia and couldnt find the actual system "winterboard" anyone know whats up with that? then when i tried to use icy, i found winterboard and it started to install then told me i need to locate the "killall" package and its most likely due to a missing source file. i just want to know how to get my cydia or icy to work, and be able to change all my themes and access my apps and all the packages and stuff, the jailbreaking was easy figuring all this out is the hardest part. any help is appreciated, thanks

    ^Agreed.

Also, having Cydia and Icy installed cause conflicts/problems.

Though I have had no problems using Cydia and Rock at the same time.

    Icy sucks. Rock rules.

^Icy sucks. Rock needs to fall in a deep pit filled with venomous snakes, spiders, frogs and sea critters, be doused with gasoline, and set on fire. Or fixed. It has lots of bugs, tries (badly) to replace mobilesubstrate, and will cause you to have to restore more than once if you make the mistake of using it again after it screws you over the first time. Use Cydia. It's slow but there are no good alternatives.

I've had no problems with Rock. It's faster and more user-friendly than Cydia, but Cydia has more "stuff" on it than Rock.
