When I'm trying to access the appstore it says "loading" for 30 minutes (longest I've left it on) For Cydia, I'm trying to update it (Upgrade essential), and I get a huge list of things that are going to be installed > Bourne-Again SHell, bzip2, Core utilities (/bin) etc. When I try to download it says: "http://apt.saurik.com, POSIX: Operation timed out" "http://apt.saurik.com, NetDB: Open nodename nor servername provided, or not known" "Host is unreachable" "Cached failure" "http://apt.saurik.com, Host is unreachable" The wifi appears to work fine in Safari, loads IGN a lot faster than 2.2.1... Things I've tried (but didn't work): - Re-jailbreak 3.0 (restore to 3.0, use redsn0w to JB, clicked 'Done' only after JB was completely finished) - Reset network settings & Reset All settings - Rebooting device Possible reasons: - Cydia servers being hammered - AppStore servers being hammered - iPod touch 1g/2g users: 3.0 Wi-Fi drop, failures (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/news/comments/ipod-touch-1g-2g-users-3.0-wi-fi-drops-failures/P40/) My iPod info: - iPod Touch 2G - Running 3.0 - JB w/ redsn0w 0.7.2 Suggestions? Ideas? Anyone else get this problem? EDIT: Can't download anything (SBSettings, AptBackup, etc.) from Cydia, always get the same problems.
