I got this problem today. When I'm trying to SSH into my iPod, i can't get in.

    In the log it says:

    ERROR:> [29.01.2008 15:56:05] User authentication failed.
ERROR:> [29.01.2008 15:56:05] The requested operation failed for an unknown reason.
    ERROR:> [29.01.2008 15:56:05] Can't connect to [IP]:22. SFTP21 error = #4.

The OpenSSH app does not show in the iPod SpringBoard so i cant change password. Im using my own password tho, and I know its right when I log into CuteFTP.
Im sure the SSH is turned on in the iPod cus Im using the Service app.

Does anybody know what to do?

    EDIT: I got a JB 1.1.3

Having the same problem.. Anyone know how to fix this? It has happened to me before, and then I had to restore my pod and reinstall all the apps. Don't want to do that again.

You sure you have your password correct?
It could have been changed in vt-1000 terminal.

I remember the dev-team saying that the passwd command was broken.
    Maybe the password's broken too?

1.1.2 is most stable, I'd use it.

CuteFTP pro or WinSCP does not work, so why should iPhonebrowser? Anyway, I'll give it a try later on..

Isn't it an easy way to fix this? I dont wan't to restore my pod... SSH worked fine until yesterday.
