I know there are several threads on this but I have a specific question. Having upgraded to 3.0 for the cut copy and paste features it offers I now find I can't do the specific thing I was looking for. That is to cut/copy a calender event and paste it elswhere in the calender (i.e. duplicate or move a calender entry easily).
If I could do this it would fit my business needs perefectly.Does any onbe know if it is possible or if it's in the pipeline.
    Thanks and regards
    Clive

I don't think that's possible, and I don't think anything like that is happening either. Sorry.

if you want to move a calendar entry, why dont you just change the date

Edit: you can use copy/paste in the location and notes section, as for the rest, just change the info, not to hard

I'm a driving instructor and on my PDA when a pupil books their next lesson I just copy and paste it to the new date/time (simples

. On the touch changing date/time is ok but copying an entry is much more long winded. My PDA is getting a bit long in the tooth now and if the iPod Touch/iPhone would do this one job then I would go for the iPhone as a one stop solution.
As it doesn't then it's a PDA upgrade for me :-(

I dont think you can copy such big items such as Calendar Tasks, i suggest you look through cydia to find some tweaks that might allow you to do this.
