Customize working but no addons

    the Title maybe confusing but umm i got the Customize custom Version from baldz source and its now working but when i add other stuff like carrier image through installer...they wont show up in customize.

    Any idea are great. Thanks

    They are in the wrong directory.

    but then how would someone add a package and then i would download it or someone else and not go where it should go

    Im not going to explain the changes and firmware and hot the directories changed. You can research that yourself. You need to do the following:

    Open a terminal window (SSH) and type

    ln -s /private/var/root/Library/Customize /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize

    /bin/chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

    The stuff for Customize should be in the /private/var/root/Library/

    omg how could i been so stupid i leanred thi yesterday...the directories change in each firmware >_<....srry i was jailbrekaing my ipod from 8am-1am yesterday

    i ssh into my ipod and i wne to /private/var/root/Library/ and Customiuze folder is in there.

    I did not use the symlink on mine I just made the Customize folder in the /private/var/root/Library/ You may notice that the one in the /private/var/mobile/Library had far less folders. That symlink come into play because some Customize themes from the Installer go into the mobile Library instead of the root. I usually always make my own stuff for Customize or put it in manually so I don't need it. I hope that makes sense. If not just PM me with any of your issues.
