Hey uhm I have a problem here :S

I jailbreaked or jailbroke my iPod Touch earlier on today and then installed Customize from Cydia to change a few strings. Only problem is, when I go into Strings, there's nothing there. It says "Strings Files", but then there's nothing listed beneath. And there's nothing under Customize Images/Sounds either.

I'm using an 8GB iPod Touch 2G 2.2.1, if that helps. Maybe Customize wasn't made for 2G or maybe it doesn't work with 2.2.1? You guys are the experts

Sorry if this is in the wrong section D:

Edit: I tried running these two commands:

    Code:
    chmod +x /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

    chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize
    It says "Operation not permitted"

Download Customize from the customize homepage then replace it with the one you downloaded from Cydia.

    Oh, that makes sense.

But wouldn't I need to be able to SSH first? If so, I'll do that now.

Yes, it'll need to go in /private/var/stash/Applications

Agh, I copied the Customize.app folder into that directory from WinSCP except it's still not working. It says Customize v2.1 which I think is the latest one, but still nothing shows up under "Edit System Strings".

Edit: Tried about 4 times total, STILL not working. Dang I really wanted to be able to edit those strings...

I copied the Customize.app folder on my desktop which is supposed to be the new one with 2.2.1 support into the Applications folder in the SSH, but when I open it nothing changes...
