    so here's the deal -

    1. i download customize
    2. i SSH into my iPhone and put Customize.app into Applications folder.
    3. Set permissions to 0777. (everything)
    4. respring, and BAM customize is on my Springboard.
    5. I open it up, and download a theme.

    Now here's the problem.

When it starts downloading the blue download bar just goes straight to download complete (to the other end) but it does this 7-10 times. Then finally when it downloads i apply theme to device. i try to 'Exit & Restart Springboard' from Customize. all it does is just close the app.

So then i use the 'Respring' app from cydia to respring and it resprings but no change. my theme is the same, the only thing that has changed is the Customize app icon.

    Please help!

Maybe because there are not many apps from 1.1.4 on cydia yet. They are the same themes with the same names.

So lets say monkey ball. There was no monkey ball for 1.1.4 so nobody made a icon for it.

hmm i did the same thing. i got the icon after turning my ipod off and on. haha. but i have a question. i thought the permissions needed to be 755? why 777?

yeah for me both work, i had 0755 at first, that was just the default. but the same things with the themes kept happening so i changed it to 0777. but it made no difference

i'll just wait until they fix the bugs.

my advice is just to delete it and wait. i know it's exciting, lol, because trust me i am very excited to finally be able to customize my iPhone but i don't want to mess it up completely. so just uninstall and wait until there's a stable verision out. that's what i'm gonna do.
