I installed Customize via Cydia, and whenever I start it up it crashes right away. I tried removing it and re-installing, but I get the same thing.

I am running 2.1 firmware on a 1g iPod Touch.

    Any help or ideas?

since 2.0 was released customize was never updated properly to work with 2.x, there is no support anymore for customize as it appears as though the creator has vanished off the net, best bet is to ditch customize and use winterboard

You can't. Customize 2 needs a local theme if it can't connect to the theme server, which it won't do these days. Plus it was never updated for 2.0.2, much less 2.1, and is buggy as hell as a result. Just download a Winterboard theme you like or create one of your own if you want to change icons. It's as easy as it was in the Summerboard days. As long as you know the app name (like MobileSafari), you're good.

Yeah, Customize is pretty much out of the game now, Winterboard can do much more.
