    how to i change the text? i know how to change the noises and sounds, but it doesnt even do it when i change that!

    you need the Springboard String Fix for your iPod language, here's the Source:

    tehre you'll find many on "Owie's Mods", yours should be there, too... just install and go back to Customize, now you should be able to edit your strings

    Where the actual .plist/.strings is, you have to give the folder a chmod 777 and THEN it will ACTUALLY MAKE THE CHANGE WHEN YOU CHANGE IT!!!

    FYI... The SpringBoard.Strings is in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpingBoard.app/English.lproj

    It will work...

    I had the same issue with Mobile Text Edit... I had to give the folders containg the applications/plists/strings 777 Permisions and then Mobile Text Edit would be able to actually make changes.
