Is it named "wallpaper" (without the quotes)? It will only show up if it is. Are you applying it in winterboard or what? I'd try doing it through winterboard if you haven't.

SSH your wallpaper to root/private/var/stash/themes.xxxxx (the x's are random letters and numbers). I'm pretty sure that's the file path someone correct me if I'm wrong.

May I also so that correct spelling and proper grammar makes post 1 million times easier to read.

dude your ipod sounds like a total piece of crap! I think you should totally buy a zune hd! in fact, why dont you just mail me yours and go buy a zune hd right now.

actually I'm having the same problem. Winterboard works fine, but it never applies the wallpaper for any theme.. actually I think this thread solved the pro... nope. First I tried changing permisions of the lockscreen.jpg to 777. Then I deleted it. then I re applied my wallpaper and went into winterboard and rechecked user wallpaper. then it resprung and its stil a black wallpaper.....

whats the prob? are you guys using the "User Wallpaper" thing in the winterboard list ?

Or are you trying to use Wallpaper.png ( capital W ) in the root folder of your theme?

i too am on 3.0 and it works like it is supposed to
