Does anyone know how to use custom sound on an Ipod Touch 2G. I have read several posts and tried several sound enabled themes but nothing works. All the tutorials refer to a system folder system/sounds/uisounds but this folder does not exist on a 2G. Are custom sounds even possible?

What sounds can you customize? I can't think of another system sound other than a chirp if you plug it in, or it syncs.

ehhhh...the correct folder should be /System/Library/Audio/UISounds/ ... The same on both my 1G and 2G. But always use WinterBoard to change the sounds.

There are many sounds to customize. Lock Sounds, Keyboard Clicks, USB Connection, New Mail, Sent Mail, Calendar/Alarm Alerts, and more.
