    The easyer way is:

1st Download a theme (with sound) from cydia (i got the family guy theme)

2nd download openssh from cydia and install it

3nd Download WinSCP (Something you can see folders when you SSH into
    the iphone)

4th download audiocity (Audio editing tools and is FREE

http://audacity.sourceforge.net (windows or mac & linux is compatible)

5th then when your done editing go to file and then go to export then go to OK then save it to where you wont the MP3 to go.

6th go into itunes then edit, import settings

7th then you will see "import using" then chooice AIFF ENCODER then ok

8th drag the mp3 file into itunes the one you saved before

9th then right click the file you imputted then save as AIFF

10th then the file will convert, get the AIFF file and rename it ringtone.caf

11th SSH into the iphone with Username: root with the password: alpine
    and go to:

    /private/var/stash/Themes.QKLS1u/Family Guy.theme/UISounds/

12th drag the .caf file and replace the file in SSH

13th reset the iphone and you should get the ringtones
