iOS 4.0 custom ringtones

    tried everything iphone apps, pc softwares, and itunes.....
    nothing is working

    is there a way to put custom ringtones in jailbroken 3g 4.0?

    make sure your ringtone is max 30 secs long, convert to AAC format in iTunes, rename m3a extension to m4r, drag and drop into the ringtone section in iTunes, select to sync and sync. There's loads of tutorials if you search here or on Google... You don't even need to be jailbroken fyi

    i tried this way but wen its suppose to extract as m3a it extracts as a aac

    i think its because of the new itunes i tried it a couple times

    What I done is just rename aac to m4r via winrar and dropped it in the folder and worked, don't think mine went to m3a either

    use this site http://audiko.net/ to create your own ringtones. once you pick your part from the song, click create ringtones and after download and sync with itunes
