    Hey guys im purchasing the parts to my computer sometime within the next 4 hours and i need to know if vista 32 bit can handle ddr3 1333 and also whats the difference between 4x2mb and 6mb cache in processors?

    Get 64bit. It can handle way more.

    now, if i get 64 bit it can handle all the 64 bit things AND 32 bit things? (ex. less than 3 gigs mem?)

    You should really go 64-Bit. Most 32-Bit programs still work with 64-Bit Vista. Also, Vista 64 is future proof and besides, lots of Apps have been move to 64-Bit code already. Especially games. So you have nothing to worry about.

    yea i got np with software compatabilty bc i know 64bit is good with that i just wanna know hardware compatibility

    The hardware will work just fine with either 32bit or 64bit vista. 32bit will only see 3.25GB of ram though, so if you have more you will need 64bit.

    You NEED to learn how to Google. Honestly, what is this? The 100th time I've asked you to?

    There is no difference, only one signifies four 2 MB Caches, and one signifies one 6 MB cache (which is kind of insane [4x2]).
