I have been trying to create a dock image for my own summerboard theme, and I have noticed that whenever I create an image it is shoved down and lower than I want it to be.

I also noticed this is true for other themes, like the NEON theme. On the neon theme website it shows that dock on an iphone is larger than the icons like this:

but on my ipod touch the green line is gone and it is much lower. I am having the same problem with my own dock graphics even if i call them Dock.png (not minidock.png,) and I am wondering if the ipod touch just does not have the ability to make full docks or I am doing something wrong with the image or with my summerboard. Any help would be appreciated.

You're not alone. It's how the touch "dock" image is coded. You have to compensate for this shift and create a dock and wallpaper that overlap and give the illusion of what you're looking for.
