Since Greenpois0n uses a Bootrom Exploit, will the iPod Touch 2G MC Model support custom boot logos now?

It's the wrong type of exploit.

Hybrid Jailbreaks don't support Custom Bootlogos. Sorry.

I thought only the exploit for iPT3G, iP3GS, and above was hybrid. A different exploit is used for the iPT2G.

Sadly there are no known working ipod touch boot logo exploits for any device above the 2G MB. That means there are known bootlogo exploits for the 2G MC

It is still hybrid. It uses the same bootrom exploit as all the other devices but a different userland exploit is used. Either way the exploit used in greenpois0n/limera1n will never be able to support custom boot logos no matter what because it is a tethered bootrom exploit which also means that it cannot boot modified/custom bootchains. They use the bootrom exploit to inject the patched kernel into the ramdisk during the boot process to achieve the untethered userland jailbreak.

There is no such thing as a bootlogo exploit. The ability to change bootlogos means that an untethered low-level bootrom exploit has to be found and used, which is capable of booting a patched bootrom. The reason custom bootlogos can only be achieved on specific old bootrom devices, is because those devices have a vulnerability utialized by the 24kpwn exploit.
