I need some boot logo help!
Any time I try to make a custom boot logo for my iPod Touch, it gets all pixelated! Most recently, I added my name to the Homer Simpson boot logo, and ONLY the text that I added was messed up. I have tried using Paint.NET, Gimp 2, and Photoshop, and all have the same effect! I tried with winpwn 2.5 on 2.0.2 firmware, and with QuickPwn 2.1 on 2.1 firmware, same problem. Does anybody know what is wrong? The problems only show up on the iPod, they all look fine on my computer I will attach both the most recent modified logo, and an older one I made.

Please note that the white parts don't show up on the forum, because the background is transparent!
With this one, Homer is not pixelated, but the text is (The part I added)

With this one, everything is pixelated, because I made it from scratch

Previews, if you don't want to add a black background to look at it:

I guess its been a while but if you still care to know...

i use gimp 2.6 and i had the same problem... Thing is when im doing text it gets all pixelated, however i noticed that there are a few boxes on the right and if i uncheck antialiasing the quality becomes much better when viewed from my ipod even though it looks worse on my computer. Try playing around with the options on the side pane and see if it helps for you.
