Now that pwnage tool version 1.1 is released and it supports custom boot loaders, comes the time when he have to create some nice looking boot logos. So I created my logo with Photoshop CS2 (In Windows). I opened up a new file 320 x 480, transparent background. Created a new layer, filled black. Copied an apple logo, created some text. Looked pretty nice, now to the saving part. First I saved it as a normal png. I booted to Osx86 opened up Pwnage tool, and loaded the png. I get an error saying
    • Sorry, but that does not appear to be the proper png file.

So I asked on the dev-team irc channel. Someone mentioned something about saving it as web format. So I grabbed the previously saved png, opened up. Saved it as a web file and in png-24 format. And I still have the same error.

Are there any specific things you need to do so it loads?

    Thanks for your support.

Open up the logo in the Pwnage Tool package and then with Photoshop paste your image over the original and resave it. Works like a champ!

I wouldn't tell everyone it does if it didn't and if I hadn't done it myself.

How would I use Photoshop CS3 to export a wallpaper I have as PNG in the correct RGB with Alpha Channel format, under 100kb?
