right now i have a jailbroken 1.1.1firmware ipod touch 16g. i took it down from 1.1.4 and i cant get some of the newer things in installer. if i restore my ipod back to 1.1.4 can someone tell me a easy way to make me have 1.1.4firmware and still have it jailbroken? i made it 1.1.1 so i could just use www.jailbreakme.com but now i want some of the newer apps and such. someone please help.

Restore to 1.1.4 through iTunes, then use iLiberty or Ziphone 2.6b to jailbreak it.

EDIT: crazyvanya beat me to it.

The jailbreak and activate part is for iPhones. You'll just want to click the jailbreak one.

Only click on Jailbreak...all the others are for the iPhone, so they could stuff up your iPod

I would suggest iLiberty, as I've heard that it's alot better than ZiPhone. I've never used iLiberty myself, since it's never worked for me

    Lol, awal1190 beat me..
