I've been playing Crystal defenders.. It's a great game but does anything else think its hard? I can make it to wave ~24ish every time, This is on the very first level/map. I try different strategies and the same result. Am I missing something? I'll try to get a screenshot

    Any advice will be appreciated,

    Thanks.

I assume you're playing the paid version since you're on level 24. I doubt many people have it due to testing the lite version and it's clunky controls.

The thing I don't like is, its like a direct port of the old iPod version. Which is kinda dumb.

Yes, but I really like the game because it has a fastforward button when you tilt it into landscape.

Enough bashing on the control scheme, does anyone have tips for me.. Or am I the only one with the paid version of this app..

I actually manage to beat the first map, "Bisga Greenlands." My strategy was to summon "Phoenix" and "Ramuh" the last few waves. Due note that they cost about 5 crystals when summoned.

I also had thieves to get 2x the money. I do agree that it can get difficult

I don't think the thread starter is asking for your opinion or anything, just looking for some tips.

Thank Uniquedot, How many waves are there, 30?

I haven't tried thieves really, I will. Also, did you level most people up really high Or did you just spam a bunch of level 5ish people?

Thanks for actually staying on topic and being helpful.

Wow, Thanks for the insightful post. Gratz on the +1 postcount.

I think 30 waves. I do recommend thieves! ;D. In the end, I was earning a lot of money and was able to level a lot of my guys to their max level of, if i recall correctly, 7(thieves max level is 4 and some others.) But even then, in the near end, the enemy was going through and I had to refer to the summons.

Crystal Defenders uses the tower defense concept, but instead of towers, it uses FF characters.
