When making a app... Cross glare. How do you select half of the app diagonally..? Would you just fill half white then enable a mask for it..? Confused. I just need a gloss/glare tutorial

EDIT: Also, how do you duplicate a layer mask

uh i dunno what you mean by 'selecting half the app diagonally' but you could just use the pen tool or the polygonal lasso to make your diagonal selection, and then fill it into a new layer and mask it over your base, and then do your gradients etc (white->transparent, lowish opacity)

to duplicate a layer mask you'd just ctrl+click the first layer mask, and then go to your new layer and hit the layer mask button

get the gradient tool and ctrl+click your mask (to select it, unless you want the gradient to be all over the image) and click+drag
