Error 1619 happened to my iPod restoration after the first time I jailbroke my 1.1.2 iPod. It turned out that I had to upgrade iTunes from 7.4 to 7.5 (this was mid-December, so 7.5 was the latest then) and it worked. So maybe try upgrading/downgrading iTunes. Try 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6.
