Ok, here is a simple way of creating your own carbon fiber pattern to be used with anything. Remember this is in Photoshop. Sorry.
    first:
-create a new doc measurements are 4x4, transparent.
-zoom till you can't no more.
-get your pencil device pick the smallest point.
-click on the color pallet and at the bottom type in these numbers. (you'll be doing them one by one. click on the doc so you'll be having 2 small boxes and move on to the next color and so on and so on)
    colors:
    242424,1c1c1c
    1d1d1d,151515
    1a1a1a,222222
    131313,1b1b1b

Ok, when you're done go to Edit and click on Define Pattern and give it a name, and its saved. Open up a blank document and go to Layer>New Fill Layer>Pattern, click ok and find your pattern.

There you have it nice and simple. Good Luck.

    try these numbers:
    b7b7b7,131313
    595959,2e2e2e
    131313,b7b7b7
    2e2e2e,595959

Looks really good if you make an icon out of it and status bar or even a dock, just got to mess around with the lighting and gradients.
