Creating Icons for a theme! some help please?

    OKey i searched before i posted this, and i didnt find anything.
    So i was wondering every time i make an icon theres these FREAKIN white pixels that stop me.
    How do i remove these? I need like an easy to follow picture guide

    I'm sure stating which program you use would help.

    For photoshop, you should just be able to make the .png transparent.

    Adocas. I know what you mean by the white bits on your icons, I am having the same problem. What it is , is the white background on your icons are showing through and you have to make the background of the icons transparent in photoshop. I dont know how to do this myself so I have asked someone to do it for me, waiting for them to get back to me on this. But if you know how to use photoshop as you said earlier I am sure you can do it. Its apparently not too hard from what I have read on these forums. I think you selct the background and theres a setting that allows you to select transparency and then save as .PNG file. Hope this helps you.

    ok so to make the background transparent you go to the layers tab and go to background and press the eye. ther you go it is now transparent. not hard. hope this helps

    You sure this removes the pixels ?
