I'm actually terrified of asking a question on this forum but I'll ask anyway.
I've searched and searched on the forum, but whenever I find a thread with someone asking for help with boot logos, they're told to "Use the search"

Can someone please give me a hand.

Anywhooo, I'm jailbreaking 1.1.4 with WinPwn 2.0.0.3 (I've done it before so I understand how to Jailbreak) but whenever I try create custom boot logos it gives this message

    2008-07-28 16:35 - Unzipping .ipsw file to C:\Documents and Settings\Emmet\Application Data\cmw\winpwn\2.0.0.3\ipsw
    2008-07-28 16:35 - OK
    2008-07-28 16:35 - Creating ramdisk
    2008-07-28 16:35 - Failed to parse boot img2
    2008-07-28 16:35 - Failed to run ipwner:-1

The files I'm using are the correct dimensions, both well under 100kb and are in PNG-8 format, I don't know why they're not working though.

    Thanks for any help

Ok I've come to the conclusion that it's not the images I'm using that's the problem as I've tried it with logos that were uploaded to this forum and it's still not working.

Make sure your computer has enough memory and you are doing something wrong because the tutorial's golden. retrace your steps.

that's same problem for me. winpwn 2.0 can build 2.0's ipsw, but failed exactly the same as you said when 1.1.4

And when I followed the guide step by step it really f***** up my iPod, I had to install iTunes 7.5 to fix the brick. I'm thinkin of just reinstalling Winpwn 1

Edit: It worked with WinPwn 1.0 RC1
