I have an iPod Touch with 2.0 firmware - NOT JAILBROKEN - and I was wondering if anyone knew of any way I can create blank (invisible) spacer icons for my home screen.

Essentially I want to be able to have my icons displayed in a certain pattern on my home screen, so I need blank (invisible) icons to fill in the spots in between my actual app icons.

I would like to keep from having to jailbreak my iPod; so if anyone knows a way of creating a website that uses a blank icon when bookmarked to the home screen or any other work around like that; that would be HUGE!

Any thoughts on whether this can be done? Thanks ahead of time for your input.

You could probably be able to make one in the SDK.

Isn't there a way to attach a regular black icon to a webpage so when you bookmark to desktop it just places a black icon? If it could be done this way then that's exactly what I am looking for... nothing to complicated.
