Cracking networks on leopard?

    hey all, i was wondering how i can crack wep's and wpa's on my leopard macbook? I know this is the wrong section but i didn't know where to post. sorry.

    I use VMWare Fusion to virtualize Backtrack and use a HWUG1 USB device.

    That takes around, 3 minutes Max doing WEP.

    If you do it with KisMAC for the Mac, you'll need a compatible USB Device and it'll take around 30 minutes to an Hour.

    Also, wouldn't you ask this in the Mac or Apple Chat sections?

    i tried that but where i try that, no one replies becuase of me being a noob at this and the new site. can anyone tell me step by step.

    Yes I have. Those exact search terms give a wealth of information.

    Mainly the thing you need is the right USB Hardware. Everything else is easy.

    alright, so i am downloading the backtrack 3.0 iso. now what do i do with it. sorry if i piss you of bro, but i really want to learn how to do it

    Read the Wiki/Documents. Also, check out the Hardware Compatibility List that Backtrack provides.

    You need to do quite a bit of reading to figure this stuff out.
