My iPod Touch 2nd Gen's screen cracked. When I opened it, I realized the black frame part holding the home button and connecting the glass to the iPod was broken too. If I just buy the digitizer part online, will that include it in the replacement? If not, what else do I need? Thanks for your help.

Why can't you just return it to where ever you bought it? If I'm not mistaken, the 2G hasn't been out long enough to have run out of warranty.

I'm pretty sure I voided warranty when I opened it. Plus, it costs $200 just to replace the glass. And I live in Korea with a crappy economy right now so its more like $350.

How about in future you just don't open the case unless you know what your doing and if it is completely necessary. Plus details on how you broke it would be nice.

When I went to the Apple Store, they told me when your warrenty runs out, you have to pay for a new one but only $100something. I dont know about voids though.
