    Sorry I was searching the treads that came up before posting about my cracked iphone and i hit the wrong key by mistake, got a cracked iphone and I'm trying to figure out whats the best DIY screen replacement out there.

    well have you ever replaced a screen before. You have to work all the way from the back and work up to the front in removing the stuff. i would recommend getting a professional to do it. first see how much work it is....

    im not trying to sound ignorant but i dont want someone to mess up their ipod.

    Thanks, I was almost ready to buy the iFix it kit but was wondering if it was the best option if anyone has done a successful fix

    I have never repaired a screen before, but I'm good with repairing electronics, soldering and precision stuff like that, I know this fix does not require soldering components, but I'm just saying, not sure how much a professional would charge for this kind of work or where to get it done
