Somebody help! I tried to upgrade and jailbreak to 1.1.2. I bothced the process and hit reset on my touch. It was wiped clean and I began to re-install everything unitl i noticed my Var and root folders are gone. but i still have my media folder.
I can't use Fugu to access it either. Fugu says: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! And now drop copy isn't working!

    help!
please tell me I'm not screwed...

just restore it. Go into itunes, connect your ipod and hit restore. I did a similar thing once. I was in WinSCP and I accidentally synced my root directly with an folder on my computer that had a bunch of useless stuff in it. none of the applications worked. After you restore, just jail break it again.

    Unkown error

restored it, but the default restore auto updated to firmware 1.1.3.
I tried to downgrade to 1.1.1
but I get a unknown error. and the pod goes to restore mode again.

is there any way to jailbreak 1.1.3 without downgrading?

    any ideas?

    Use the ziphone jailbreak method.
